Update 1/2/2010:
The Tech guys I work with tend to keep me out of the loop when it comes to issues with CCure9000 because I can be get critical and they don't like change.
ISC's:
Still having Issues with ISC's have been changing out to Istars. Found that an earlier chip in the ISC's are not compatible sorry don't know which rev the chip is.
Istars:
For some reason the Istar service tends to shut down for unknown reasons causing heart burn.
Generally they seem to be pretty stable other then that. Not crazy about the board layout you have 8 reader ports and 16 inputs either you go to a input / output board if you have doors with out card readers or you sacrifice a reader port.
CCure9000 Software:
Still like the look and feel of it but you need to be a rocket scientist to create reports and exporting can be kind of clunky. Why every holiday do we have issues with doors either not locking or locking W.U.W.T?

Tyco Software House CCure9000
Anyone else have experience with CCure9000 Tyco's software house. We have been using it for severl months now althought the user interface is nice we found some serious short falls.
Try adding Access Levels to more then one record we were told you need to create an XML file first export then import? It seems to me that this day to day administrator task would have been brought over from an early version IE 800.
ISC's we found that there really not completely compatiable with the new software. It appears that the firmware will not be updated to work 100% with CCure9000. If you use reader cards for monitoring doors with embrassment alarms good luck. If you use the reader card for readers only your OK.
Creating reports looks very powerful but for the end user where we deploy the software not happening. It took me about an hour to create a report template and I settled for something I wasn't completely happy with!
What's up with the SSA other access control companies don't charge for support! This cost gets pass onto the customer not sure what our benefit is in this?
This Blog is to spark conversation not to trash Software House. The above information was gained from field experience and may or may not be accurate feel free to share your thoughts and experiences.
